Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress. The actress is most famous for the role of Jane Seymour, the young girl who would become the third Queen of Henry VIII on the television show The Tudors. Briem began her acting career as a child in the National Theater in Iceland. In her native Iceland she appeared in several plays, radio shows and TV programs as an emerging actress. Briem moved from Iceland to London at 16 years old when he was part of the stage production Lenin's Love. Briem who was then 19 was accepted to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. The academy was home to her during three academic years. Briem earned her degree in Drama, and was awarded the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. He was involved in numerous productions during his time at RADA including The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House, written by Federico Garcia Lorca.
